Tobacco price research

Hello friends,

I would to like to get an idea of what everyone is paying for their tobacco across the U.S. (international input is welcome as well). I will compile all the information at the end and organize a page of info to share with everyone.

So, at your convenience please reply with any brands, package quantities, and prices of tobacco you buy, along with your city. If you buy online let me know the city of the website. Please include prices of you your local B&M's blends.

Well, I've gotten most of my baccy online.

Bulks I've paid $2.50/oz to $3.50/oz online and local, with local being on the higher end.

Pipe tobacco is more expensive across Europe.
Spain is the cheapest place (50g. tins about 7€) while Great Briitain sells 50g. for £9 (€11) average. That means US$ 10 to 15, for 50g, depending where you buy it (Spain doesn´t have online selllers).

The prices of any tinned or bulk tobacco I buy can be found at pipesandcigars.com. The only other tobacco I buy is Carter Hall, which locally has gone up from $3.25 to $3.75 for a 1.5 oz pouch in the last month.

My Prince Albert went from $20.79 to $24.89 in just a couple of weeks. It's now a dollar cheaper if I buy it by the pouch at Wally World. Carter Hall which I also sometimes smoke has gone the same way. These are the only two available locally to me that I smoke often. Others I get off the net.

I do have the prices for a couple of others locally but I rarely smoke those:

Kentucky Club is $2.19 a pouch and Half and Half is $2.59 a pouch. That's the last time I checked anyway. If I find they have changed I'll edit the post.
