I just noticed this and thought all you FVF fans might be interested. SP appears to have 50g tins of FVF in stock, at least at the moment. I don't know how accurate their website is, but many other SG blends are listed as out of stock so I hope this is correct for you lovers of FVF.

Actually a lot of SG tins are out of stock again at SmokingPipes.com, including FVF.

I discovered this because I had myself 90% talked into placing a tobacco order that was going to include some Firedance Flake, but it was out of stock. So I decided to hold off for now.

Edit: However, it does appear to be in stock at 4noggins and pipesandcigars.com.

4noggins has been pre-selling SG tins, they weren't actually in stock as their site indicated. They estimated arrival this week for an order I placed 3 weeks ago. Still haven't received a ship notification though.

update: Now they say arrival on Nov. 23.

I ordered a couple tins a while back when I saw them on their site too, I did realize it was a pre-order though. They sent me the other two tins I ordered yesteday & said they'd ship the SG tins when they came in. I believe they were originally set to be in this past monday, but have been delayed until next monday.

Sounds like SG has some distribution issues.......

I just wish it would hurry up and get here

I'm waiting on 16OZ of FVF I placed with 4 Noggins on Oct 30th when smoking pipes was out of stock (surprise surprise when I was told it was back-ordered....uuuuuggggghhh), and also waiting on a 250G box of Squadron Leader from Cup O Joes I ordered on Oct 29th (also indicated 'in stock' when I ordered). Cup O Joes said next week after inquiring yesterday.

In the mean time I just received 8 OZ of both Stokkebye Balkan Supreme and Lancer's Slices. (Both excellent tobacco BTW). Also picked up a few tins from my local B$M yesterday, and also received 8 OZ of Charing Cross from smokingpipes on Monday.

When the FVF and Squadron Leader arrives, I should be pretty well stocked for a while....yea....sure....

I just talked to Cupojoes and thay do have the 1lb box of FVF in stock and the 250Gram boxes and tins will be in Monday or Tuesday.
Commonsenseman your right, thay said thay do not update there website when thay are out of stock on tobacco.
