Only One Blend.....Forever

Imagine if you will for some unforeseen reason you would be limited to one blend from now until the end of your pipe smoking hobby. What would you choose? For me it would be a tough one between Escudo and Frog Morton Across the Pond. Please if you can keep this to current production tobaccos only.

I hadn't seen the above threads. I love the one where the guy says that with his luck the government would probably ban smoking on the desert island. All it would take is one chimp taking issue with the second hand smoke.

Never heard a word about Sam's Flake, but the basic description sounds interesting. What's it like? Does its topping make it more of an aro or is it still mostly VA?

I'd have to try every brand in the world for at least six months.
Stash some unfinished bags or tins for smoking once or twice every three months.Then I'd choose one for frequent smoking which I believe would be some Dunhill or Peterson.
I really think that after some time I'd quit smoking. I hate boredom.

See this is the problem...I am on that quest to find that one tobacco that would cause me to buy no other...I hadn't found it yet.. But , if I had to choose right now..

In a world that the government has taken over because "We the People" are no longer capable of making " the right decisions" are left to wear the issued white coveralls, to eat the bland and tasteless gruel that longs for spice, and we eat it because a group of doctors and yes men/women have dictated "they know what's best". Where our children are predestined and procreation is prohibited without authorization. When we marry we must stand before a committee and give our reasons why and hope that we are allowed to love. In a world that we are forever under the watchful eye or the decision makers..........

If at that point I could grab but one tobacco as I escaped into the shadows in hope that the rumors of the free zone were true...were Dan and Pearse frolic in a free and open field "Where the Hills Come Alive", smoking their pipes and thumb their noses at the very idea of "just one tobacco"........then I would grab Lancer's Slices..a good English a mild all day smoke.

Wow, so many scenario's

Desert Island: If I was going to a desert island, last thing on my mind would be my pipes, I'd ask for a woman. of course, if they gave me blend choice anyways, to go with the woman, it would probaly be a burly blend as I am sure it is going to be hot on the desert island and you need something cool.

Old Cougar: If I was like the old guys who would stick with one blend, forever, it would be my hopes that butternut burly would be invented as an over the counter, blend, because if that stuff is excellent, and would have been the best OTC blend you could buy, back in the day, had it been thought of. But since it wasn't, Granger is my fav for the blend I'd had pick, back then.

Other than figuring out my blend based on logic, I don't think I have a forever blend that I could smoke, forever and be fine.

Artisan Blend comes close, so doesn't Dunhill Nightcap

I happen to be a One Blende smoker personally so I'd just need my Black n Gold and I'd be happy. Been smoking this blende for over two years now daily.
