The original is more the traditional latakia blend, while Across The Pond uses Syrian latakia (which I've found I don't care for), the On The Bayou includes perique and the On The Town (my favorite) includes Basma leaf with a bit less latakia.

I take an interest in these because although I know a lot of people that smoke one of the four regularly, I've not come across anyone that smokes 2 or more of them regularly. That would indicate that they are all quite different and there is a need for all four of them. It's an interesting line for McClellands.
I'm glad to provide you with a first instance of someone who regularly smokes two of them. I only smoked FMOTB until I found FMOTT. Now I smoke both regularly. I haven't tried the others yet, as I have more than enough latakia inclusive tobacco on hand already.

Re: I love the Frog Morton

Smoked my first two bowls of FM tonight. A very cool, dry smoke and I like it. Will be trying the other FM's as well someday.

And my new Joh's Sands rocks, but it's a little tricky getting a pipe cleaner all the way through. Is that common? Will it get better over time?

They're all good. On the Bayou is my favorite.

Sometimes you have to give it a half-twist on the way in. If it consistently jams, you could consider fixing the drilling (with a drill, of course). Or not - if it smokes well, leave well enough well alone.
