VaPers and Nightcap

Sorry for having two things in a thread, I just figured since they're both tobacco related I could just do one...

1) I think I'm going to wind up preferring VaPers or VA's to almost everything else. I'm not sure I'll be a huge fan of the really smokey smelling ones (latakia?) for reasons unknown. What are your favorite VaPers and VA's? Also, where might I find them?

2) I bought this stuff called "Just like 'Night Cap'". It's alright...but it won't stay lit. I've gotten to a point where I rarely need a relight, but I needed something like 5 for the one bowl of night cap I tried to smoke.

There are hundreds (if not more) variations and versions with Perique. Check the Reviews section, tons of, ahem, reviews there

If that "just like..." is a so called house blend, its probably sopping wet. Try letting it dry out on your desktop until it is smokable. Water does not burn.

I've decided not to buy any more of the Stogies "house" stuff...simply because they were not very friendly and the two new blends I purchased are remarkably hard to keep lit.

I will go searching in Minneapolis today for the Bayou slices, Escudo, and the Navy Cavendish. I shall report my findings shortly.

I had class in Minneapolis tonight, too!

I went to a pipe shop on 6th and Marquette...Wound finding Christmas Cheer from 2007...bought it. I also obtained a free sample of some virgina pressed blend.

Now. How do I smoke the pressed stuff?

Easiest way is probably to rub it between your palms until it breaks up; then you'll have a form you recognize and will have no problem.
