Bought my first pipe. Any good?
Hi all! I am new to pipe smoking, and just wanted to give it a try. I did a few days of research, ended up bidding on a few pipes online. Tonight I ended up getting a Savinelli Dry System for 22$ shipped to here (Canada). It should be on its way, and hopefully it arrives soon.

Sounds like a hell of a deal to me, those retail for about $70 to $100 depending on the model you choose.
 And if it's an estate pipe that was reasonably well cared for you got a real bargain. Enjoy! |

I have a few Savs and enjoy them a great deal. The bits aren't the best for clenching, so they get pulled out for those times when I can actually sit in the yard put some real time and thought into what I am smoking.

IMO, any Savinelli is a good choice. Hope you enjoy it and be sure to post some pix when it arrives!

Welcome. I think Sav's are a great pipe, and a good starters choice, bargain at $22, make sure you clean it well if it is an estate.

I've got two Sav's and they are great pipes. One Estate and one I bought new from Frenchy...excellent puffers.
