Question on Mixing tobaccos
Hey gang,
I bought a couple ounces of Virginia/Cavendash mixed. It is good, but kinda bland and not much flavor. I thought of just aging it for a while. I thought of putting some cigar tobacco in it, or latakia. I am new to this. Any sugestions |

Re: Question on Mixing tobaccos
Get yourself some mason jars and put it away for awhile. I have had plenty of tobacco that did not do it for me the first time around and when I came back to it a year later it was much better. Tobacco changes and your taste change over time.

Re: Question on Mixing tobaccos
Seems like a lot of the VA blends do age well, and the flavor should mellow and come together nicely. If you really want yo add a little mixer to it, try adding a pinch or two of a simple "drugstore" brand like Prince Albert or Carter Hall. A 50/50 mix (just a couple pinches of each) should be a good starter and you can then tweak it from there. Good luck!!

Re: Question on Mixing tobaccos
If you do mix up something, I'd recommend letting it sit a bit in a mason jar and "meld" rather than smoking it right away.
