Does this happen to anyone else? When I order cigars they arrive in 3 or 4 days but when I order pipes or tobacco they take 10 days to 2 weeks. Do pipe people just naturally move at a more leisurely pace?

I would say that what you are experiencing is probaly an isolated incident. I've ordered from about 4 different pipe websites and they all shipped fast except one. I mean really fast like I had my tobacco and/or pipe in 2-3 business days.

Plus, I think pipe people are able to gift thier customers with extra tobacco if they have more then enough on stock. What I mean is they wouldn't generally throw in an extra 2 cigars just for giggles, but with pipe tobacco an extra half ounce or ounce can be gifted. Like both Mars cigars and tobacco barn sent me extra of the blends i requested. Just today I got about an extra ounce of Peter Stokybe's Balkan supreme for free when I ordered a two ounce sample from Mars cigars! I like buying bulk for this reason...
