Just picked up a Harrods bulldog estate and in researching I came across this very interesting article on Tobacco Pipes, Smoking Pipes, Briar Pipes&
Well worth a read, I don't agree totally about his generic ideals about English Gentlemen and Empire (we Irish have an enlightened opinion on such matters) but very good historic observations made nonetheless. British Pipes - The Pipe Collector |
