After cleaning my pipe it taste sour
I cleaned it with Rum. I cleaned it the way they say on youthube. It now taste sour. I smoked it 5 hours after I cleaned it. Did I not let it sit long enough?

i am guessing you are talking about salt and alchohol treatment. maybe didn't sit long enough while cleaning. didn't sit long enough after cleaning. or maybe it needs more cleaning.

I asked a fella from a local B&M and he said its probably the alcohol burning off, and it didn't sit long enough. I am going to let them sit a couple days, and try them again. I tried several different pipes, and they were all sower. So I know it wasn't the tobacco. Kinda a bummer, I have had to smoke cigars today
