I was looking at this too. I believe some Savinelli's use a 6mm balsa filter. Evidently there is a converter piece available to replace using the filters.
Is this the best of both world's? filter an non filter in one pipe. I can't seem to find much info about how they work. Can you switch back and forth, or if you convert, is it no longer a filter pipe?
