Man i hate to hear this. Frenchy was trying to find a pipe for me. Hopefully he will still let me know. He told me he had one that was in the process of being cleaned up.

This is too bad. I was lucky enough to purchase a pipe from Frenchy, and he threw in some great freebies. He will be sadly missed and I wish him the best of luck!

Unbelievable. I just took up pipe smoking again after a 25+ year absence. As all my old pipes were nowhere to be found, I started hunting for new about a week ago (I can think of worse things).

I bought my second new pipe from Frenchy. What a class act. Thankfully he threw in a cob and other assorted freebies. The cob was very welcomed, as it gave me something to smoke right away while breaking in all these new pipes I'm stocking up on.

I went back to his site last evening to look for another new snatch, and saw his announcement. Man, I just received my one and only pipe from him this past Friday, thanked him immediately via an email, yet he never said a word except he was glad I was happy with the purchase, and 'happy puffin'.....

Sad to see such an icon give it up. Here is hoping that his retirement is long and very enjoyable.

I placed an order from him a few days ago. The pipes arrived quickly and included a bunch of free stuff. Good customer service is hard to beat!!

Well I'm sad to hear of this, but I hope Frenchy has a long and enjoyable retirement now. He's a great guy and a stand-up businessman in every regard! I've bought several pipes from him over the past couple years and every purchase was perfectly executed.
