As I was browsing through his Stanwells, I tried to go back in the browse, and this came up

Frenchy's Pipes - Ronny Thuner Pipes

I can't even access his contact page. Any idea what he is doing with his remaining stock? I was very interested in buying a couple in the next week or so.

I did notice a big drop off in new pipes posted on his site in the past few months. I too wonder what's happening with his stock. I'm honestly surprised he didn't go out with a big sale.

That's what I would have expected too. But who knows, maybe that is still what he will do but is taking some time to figure out the sale prices and such?

This is a bummer, what a great guy and a great pipe seller, amazing experiences I've had from him. I can understand that answering a lot of dumb emails every day can be quite a tiring thing....I've purchased a few cobs from him and two Sav's over the last 2-3 yrs. Has any one got his direct email address I love to send him some greatings...perhaps we could get a whip round going for a gold watch? I'm serious any takers?

What a great loss to the Pipe smoking community. Have several puffers from Frenchy...he is the finest example of how to do business I've come across in my life. Well deserved retirement. All the best Frenchy..even if you are a Yankees fan...lol

He has earned his retirement and I hope it delivers everything he yearns for.

Frenchy did business with a true personal touch, he made every customer a friend. I just recently started trading with him and had hoped to continue for some time. I'm disappointed that I won't have that opportunity but I wish him nothing but the best in retirement. Happy puffing Frenchy, we're all going to miss you.

Also, parts of many of these posts kind of make it sound like Frenchy died...

Heck of a guy. I bought my first pipe from Frenchy back in 2004 and bought a few more from him over the years since then. Always a class act and a pleasure to deal with. He'll be missed but I'm sure he's gonna be enjoying himself while he sits back and does some puffin'.
