It's nothing fancy, no odd flavors, just really nice VAPer flavor with no bite. I never hear anyone talk about it.

G.L. Pease's Robusto. For as much as people tout his very popular blends like Union Square and Westminster, Robusto has really been flying under the radar for awhile now.

I picked up a tin of Mac Baren "Golden Extra" out of nostalgia as much as curiousity. When I was an undergrad at Oberlin it was one of the tobaccos that the local "corner drug store" carried, along with Mac B Scottish Mixture and (believe it or not) Balkan Sobranie, both the white and black labels! (All of which I bought and smoked).

The tin aroma and room note are exactly what I remember, bringing back both fond memories and horrifying flashbacks.

Mac B seems to be one of the "sleeper" brands that everyone knows about but people don't mention much, apart from Navy Flake.

BTW, anyone have some Vanilla Flake they'd be willing to send me a sample of?
