Put in an order with pipesandcigars.com and short bit ago. I ordered a Savinelli Duca Carlo pipe and McClelland Holiday Spirit 2008 tobacco. Both orders were received in a timely fashion, and they even threw in 2oz of free Cherry Cavendish tobacco! Great service.

Like all vendors they have problems from time to time (I know that some have had problems with items appearing in stock and then being informed they were out of stock, etc.), but they're good folks. I'm from Albany and the guys who run p&c have run a b&m there for years and years. I remember going into their shop many times in the Colonie Center Mall back in the early 80's during my first round with the pipe. They were good guys then and still are by most accounts. If you wonder about an item's stock level I'd suggest you call and ask. They sometimes take a bit to respond to emails but a quick call usually works. You'll probably enjoy talking to them.

Good to hear about their business. I placed my first order 2 weeks a go with a different, very popular vendor, and received an email 2 days later, after I had been billed, saying that one of my tins was out of stock,, and was asked if I would like to replace it, or if I would like a refund. I chose to replace it with a bulk blend and was refunded the difference. After all that, I got my package on Monday and the bulk wasn't even in the box. I called them and they are shipping it out, but I think I will try a different vendor next time.

P&C gets a big thumbs up from me. Good people, and I've never had problem 1 with their service in spite of placing numerous orders. smokingpipes.com is another 5 star vendor, IMHO.

Not sure I'd be too ecstatic about the free cherry cavendish, though. They sent me a packet of Dream Castle aromatic on two separate orders and both were smokable only in the literal sense of the term (they burned and produced smoke). But hey - free is free!

The only thing close to a problem I've had with pipesandcigars.com was when I placed an order and added a tin of Commonwealth Mixture to my order to push it over the free shipping level. I received the order and noticed it was missing, but they didn't bill me for it, and gave me the free shipping anyway, so no complaints here.
