I seem to fly in the opposite direction as most on this one as well. I've been enjoying a pouch of H&H lately and find it to be an easy, mild, and cool smoke.

My tastes may very well get more refined as I continue to try other blends, but I am completely happy enjoying what I'm smoking, whatever it is called.

I'm a smoker but I'm not very refined either!

Seriously, if H&H is what you like, H&H is what you should smoke. Smoking should always be for one's own pleasure rather than for bragging rights. Enjoy!

So I'm getting the whole idea that virginia is in the right direction, people are liking full virginia flake and union square.... but what can I get that isn't a flake (since people seem to think it's not a good idea for a newbie).. seems every one of them is!

I would heartily suggest Old Red from pipesandcigars.com. It's a straight Virginia blend that is soft and sweet. Very tasty stuff indeed! It's also very economical.

Anniversary Kake!!! It has an almost aromatic quality to it but it's not that chemical and artificial flavor of additives (that some of even the GOOD aromatics have).... but it's so natural, like chocolate natural. It is easy on the wallet too
