Pics of my new Molina pipe...

I've already broken her in, got a nice cake forming thanks to the Voodoo Queen tobacco mixture I bought from my local B&M a few days ago. Man this pipe is amazing, I absolutely LOVE it to death, and that VooDoo Queen stuff is absolutely fantastic.

Oh, and to those curious Voodoo Queen was blended to be a traditional english, it is mild-medium and mucho tasty with a sort of cayenne pepper like spice that develops half way through the bowl. Very pleasant smelling as well, I absolutely LOVE this blend.

Pics:

Nice eh? The clerk actually gave me a discount, so I only spent $48 bucks instead of $56.90.

Re: Pics of my new Molina pipe...

Hmm, I think I shall partake in another bowl of tobacco! I had finished the bowl of Voodoo Queen at about 7, I think I started at 6pm. It's 9:43pm now, I've been letting her rest for 2 and half hours, and I'm dyin' for another round of relaxing smoke!

I think I shall have some rumrunner....

Re: Pics of my new Molina pipe...

I see why you love that pipe, I love the shape of the bowl and grain. Might have to look into Molina pipes as I haven't really heard to much about them before.

Usually you let a briar pipe rest around 24 hours if you can but I think when your breakin it in you can smoke more then one bowl in it a day. Keep in mind this is a guideline I usually don't follow so i'm just throwing it out there.

Congrats on new pipe mate!

Re: Pics of my new Molina pipe...

So, last night I didn't even get through the beginning of that RumRunner, it was terrible. My Dad loves it though, apparently it's the same as when he smoked it in his navy days and before I was born.

So, I let her rest with a pipe cleaner in the stem for this morning's smoke.

All I can say is that this is my pipe, I felt it when I saw it in the shop! It's an excellent smoker, very smooth and excellent draw and amazing construction.

And it sure looks pretty, not to mention it has a 2 inch deep bowl.

Re: Pics of my new Molina pipe...

I would definitely let it rest for a bit longer then 2-3 hours before smoking it. Get a cob or something cheap and smoke that bad boy every second day or so, just to make it more special, and not risk getting a burnout or anything.
