Revolutionary Tobacco

Since the 230th anniversary if our independence from England and George III is upon us, I wondered what tobacco was like in 1776. Pretty rough, or not so bad?

Since they used it for money...Roll up a 20 and see how it tastes....No I bet the actual tobacco was simmilar to our Virgina of today but we have all the blends now....not sure but I bet more people back then smoked pipes like people smoke Cigs today....Also I wonder if they had any Aromatics??

Re: Revolutionary Tobacco

And from what I hear, some of the descendent's of those revolutionary war families have been aging some of the tobacco for the last 200+ years...must be some good chit buried away somewhere...sorta like all that pre-embargo Cuban stuff they use in the Pinars...
