Researching old pipes.

Other than a Google search, where's the best place to look up older pipes?

I picked up this old pipe last night on ebay:

Found a couple that look similar, but none that were smooth.

The same seller had 5 pipes and they were all ending at the same time. I was fighting with another buyer and for the last 2 mins it was a bidding war. I lost the one I really wanted but this little number I nailed at the last second. 12.53 shipped!!!

I've been reading your posts on restoration and I'm going to be doing this alot I think, thanks to Gil and Joel and Bob.

Maybe we could offer it as a service to Club Stogie members only? We could call it "Reclaimed Puffers", yeah, I can see it now................ or not!

wow thats a great price!

i have already offered my services to CS members who would like their pipes restoring.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Puffing Marvelous!"

unfortuantely due to my location a lot of people would rather get their pipes resotred by someone in the US.
