More Tabacy ****
Here are six of my recent aquisitions:
 The bottom row is 2 McCleland's 100G Anniversary 2002 (canned in 2001) 2 GL Pease 50G Samara (canned in 2001) 1 McCleland's 100G Stonehaven's (canned in 1999) 1 W.O. Larsen 100G Sekected Blend #99 / American Mix (canning date unknown, but shop said it is at least several years old) So there is at least 30 years of age in these six tins. The Samarra is the bomb!!! I am almost done with a 5 year old can if it I picked up a few months ago. It is a great blend with a little age in it!!!

Is aged pipe tobacco really all that much better? A friend of mine tried a blend that was 15 years aged and hated it, but it was just the type of tobacco I guess. I'll have to try it for myself one day.

Nice ****....Ok you saw that Cigar_Jockey gave into my threats for aged tobacco...Ok ship small samples of each blend in a plain brown envelop or......

Nice score! I wish the pipe shops in my city carried tins, but they only stock bulk. The GL Pease stuff I order online, I always seem to get the tins that are dated a week or so before my order.
If ya ever want to trade some of that old stale tobacco for very fresh new tobacco, just let me know I won't even charge you for the service.  |

I've thought several times about picking up a good tin of Mac Baren or Peterson tobacco, but I just can't pull myself away from my local shop's house blends. They're too darn good.
