If you've been smoking cigars try one of the many Havana blends. McConnell Pure Havana is one of the best of this type. Also you may like GLPease Barbary Coast. Try these or similar before you try Latakia blends because Latakia is an aquired taste and Virginia blends will give you tongue bite until you get used to pipe smoking.

Would also recommend Robert McConnell's Oriental as a light, cool and fragrant smoke.
![]() It sort of introduced me to the English Blends and have gone on from there to include Squadron Leader and Early Morning Pipe.
