I am very impressed! That, together with the contents of your humis should last until the ban on further purchases has been lifted.

Enjoy and let us know how those pipes are smoking. I think that I am going to have to increase the size of my collection.

Re: Today's total tobacco arrivals

You have put my Pipe smoking to shame!

i started about the same sort of time as you did, i have two tins of McClellands and a baggie of Dunhill early morning (thanks Zenistar!) i also have a small collection of el cheapo briar pipes (i figured id prob bugger them up anyway) and two being restored (these are nicer pipes). You make me look a complete uber newb, way to trow yourself down the slope, i guess i held onto the edge a little longer but then it is more difficult to get into pipe smoking over here.

The baccy looks yummy and those two Bjarnes are just stunning!

Way to go Shawn!

Thanks man, when I get into something or like something I don't hold back. I figure if I'm going to do it I need to do it right to get the most enjoyment.

I'm sure there are plenty of other people that started off with more then me LOL.

The Bjarnes I just love, I think the look of them is top notch and the first freehand I received smokes very nicely. It seems everytime I look at pipes I end up on the Bjarnes, I don't know LOL

Im normaly the same with new hobbies, however with pipe smoking it has been a lot more difficult for me, i had to turn to ebay for pipes as the only pipes i could but locally were far to expensive to be practising with. as for baccy i am relying on BOTL for samples, if i want to buy tobacco from my local shop there is a very limited range, expensive prices and normaly large quantities, obviously for a cash strapped pipe newbie this is not an ideal way to start a hobby, however thanks to generous BOTL's (Dlevine and Zenistar) i am slowly getting there, i now have three baccies under my belt and my techinique is getting better.

eventually i will get there!!

Damn Shawn. opening your own B&M? Some good looking stuff there. I expect full reviews on it. Most of that is on my waiting-to-buy list.

That sucks about limited baccy and expensive pipes man. I had no idea. I guess we are lucky over here for baccy.

In due time you will have a nice supply I am confident of this.
