Mine is an old Vienna Meerschaum. I smoke it only a few times a year now but it has never given me any problems. It's way to ugly to be a display pipe but I love it anyway.

i have an SMS meerschaum that smokes really good. the only problem i've had with it is that i tried to scratch some dirt off with my fingernail and ended up scratching the pipe (smooth bowl, banker shape).

Just out of curiosity, what are you using for a lighter to have cracked that many meers?
