Not all cherry blends are created equal. Which one are you smoking? I'd recommend Sam Gawith Black Cherry.
Naming your favorite tobacco is a lot like naming your favorite child. It depends which one's been behaving the best lately.
Just to play along, here's a few of the current favorites.
C&D Three Friars
Captain Earl's Ten Russians
GL Pease Maltese Falcon
Peter Stokkebye Pistacchio
MacBaren Honey & Chocolate
Two Friends English Chocolate
Sam Gawith Chocolate Flake
(I'm seeing a pattern with my recent smoking choices.)
Enabler, Philosopher and Resident Imbiber
Sam Gawith-1792 Flake
Boswell-Northwoods
Dunhill-Early Morning Pipe and Royal Yacht
Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.-Bob's Chocolate Flake
These are my current favorites right now.
Pipes, Cigars and Snuff
In a tin, I love Aurora
bulk, I'm completely spoiled since we do our own blending here. My current in house favorite is Joe (I am biased)

Like everyone here, I smoke a big variety of different tobaccos...so many that it's pracically impossible to name a single favorite. The only tobaccos that I *always* have on hand and smoke almost every day are Prince Albert and (more recently) 5 Brothers. Doesn't mean they're necessarily my favorites but I do really like them a lot!

Right now the ones I am using for rotation are:
Dunhill Royal Yacht
Rattrays Old Gowrie
Gawith Hoggarth Silced Brown Twist
GL Pease Piccadilly
As I use up a tin I will open a different tobacco. The only one I repeat all the time is RY, so it depends on when you ask.
“In a time of universal deceit, truth telling becomes a revolutionary act.”George Orwell
Dunhill EMP, MacBaren Scottish Mix, and GLP Westminster are in a three-way tie.
"The welfare of humanity is always the alibi of tyrants." - Albert Camus
At the moment I am Torn Between GL Pease Union Square and Dunhill De Luxe Navy Rolls.
"He posesses all the virtues I dispise and none of the vices I admire" -Winston Churchill
Tough question.
Peterson's Irish Flake, G&H Ennerdale Flake, GLP Meridian and Lagonda (although you could substitute ANY GLP blend here), Balkan Sasieni, Lancer's Slices, H&H Black House, Sam Gawith 1792, SPC Plum Pudding, SHPC VR...
I could go on and on. And on. How many blends do you want me to list???![]()
It's not my fault.
If you like cherry tobacco, you may want to look at Pipeworks and Wilke's Cherry Cavendish. It has good cherry flavor and it doesn't bite me.
As for myself, I blended a Balkan blend to suit my tastes in the "FusionBlend" contest via pipesandcigars.com; I named it "Knights of Malta" ... and that's my current favorite.
