Was desperate for some pipe tobacco for my first smoke...

...and I picked up some Premium Blend Vanilla from a Walgreens. What did I have to lose, almost a pound for under 10 bucks.

I've read many mixed reviews on this stuff, most saying it's crap, but I really enjoyed my first smoke even with the tobacco probably being subpar, and I look forward to finishing the whole bag.

What would you all recommend for a beginner?

I've never seen 1 lb. bags of tobacco at Walgreen's. Glad you enjoyed your first smoke. My first was some Borkum Riff Rum. Nasty stuff, but I loved it. Whatever floats your boat, my man. Have you a local B&M?

if you like vanilla i highly suggest macbarens vanilla cream loose. not a cheap tobacco as compared to bulk but it has quality virginia plus a really good vanilla tase and then the tangy citrus from the virginia.

damn that sounds good! i love my Just for him vanilla blends (land shark etc) but i think i will have to try and get hold of some of this, any ideas where i can get some sent to the UK?
