May Tobacco of the Month Nominations

Holy cow is it almost May already??? Ok boys and girls the GOP (Grand Old Puffers ) is taking nominations for May's TOTM. We have a few holdovers from months past but lets get some new "blood" in the line up.

    Here are the holdovers:

Dunhill Early Morning Pipe 50g Tobaccos at Smoking Pipes .com - Sweet Oriental and a bit of Latakia carefully blended with Bright and Red Virginias, pressed and lightly stoved. Great as the `first pipe` arousing the palate for the further pleasures of the day. (50g tin)

Balkan Sasieni Pipe Tobacco - A blend of tobacco leaves from Macedonia and the Black Sea region mixed with Latakia from Northern Cypress and the finest Virginia tobaccos establish the foundation of this English type mixture. The high content of Latakia provides the Balkan Sasieni with its unique character and room note.

Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. - Brown Irish Twist pipe tobacco reviews - Made with the same ingredients as the Black Irish X; Brown Irish X (same as twist) comes straight off the spinning machine without any additional processing. The absence of the pressure and heating process means this tobacco retains all of it's strength.

Ruins of Isengard: The fifth blend in our Middle-Earth Pipeweed Series. Burley, Virginia, Latakia, and Cavendish tobaccos are blended together to form this thick, satisfying smoke.

Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. - Kendal Kentucky pipe tobacco reviews - Kendal Kentucky is a full bodied, full strength tobacco of 100% African grown (Malawi, Uganda and Tanzania) variation of the actual Kentucky seed. These tobaccos are fire-cured which gives them their distinctive aroma and flavor. This is a fairly strong, but exceptionally cool tobacco for the lovers of dark-fired Virginias.

http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend_detail.cfm?ALPHA=G&TID=3446 - A Ready-Rubbed tobacco made from carefully blended, cask mellowed Burley tobaccos with just a touch of golden virgina.

I may or may not (hey this is for May so I may do that!) remove one or two of the above if we get a good number of nominees.

Primary's will take place at the end of next week so get your nominations in now!

Take Balkan Sasieni off, and I'll send over a couple of campaign workers. Capisci?
