Starting Pipes

I am very intrested in smoking a pipe, I have tried it a few times before, and I love the tastes you can get from the smoke, and it just seems cool to me, any one have any suggestions on inexpensive pipes that would be decent, I cant really drop very much for a pipe right now, as the cash flow is a little low, just looking for some good suggestions.

Get a cob pipe, should be very cheap and they are great smokers

Re: Starting Pipes

Cobs are fantastic smokers. Sometimes you can get lucky, picking up a "basket" pipe.

Considering that one can spend betewwn $30 and $1500-plus on a good-smoking briar pipe, I guess that the question to ask is : what is "inexpencive" to you. Stanwell, Savinelli, and Peterson, (to name only a slim few) make great smoking pipes under the $100 mark.

Do a google search for "frenchy's pipes" and you are apt to find some great deals at Frenchy's site.

Re: Starting Pipes

Go to your local shop and start looking. Ask every question you can think of. They will be glad to help you and you won't have to wait on the mail... You can be all set to start for under $50.

Am I allowed to mention Frenchy's $18.00 Be-Gentle-With-Me First-Timer's Package—pipe, pouch, lighter, tool, cleaners? Oh look, forbidden Cuban's advertized in the masthead banner. Stlll and all, rules is rules.
