Re: 2006 Secret Pipe Santa wishlists

I don't like most aromatics. I love Latakia and am beginning to appreciate Virginias (and even Burley blends) more.

Anything, Santa... just no coal please!

Re: 2006 Secret Pipe Santa wishlists

Santa I like all Va's and English blends.
My favorite tobaccos are the GLP tobaccos and the new McCelland Cajun blends!!

If I have been a really good boy I would love a new boswell pipe for christmas.
I know thats a long shot but I still can ask!

Re: 2006 Secret Pipe Santa wishlists

Well I feel a little weird putting a list up but since I have to I will.

I still like aromatics so any of those will do.

Wanted to try some Christmas Cheer & Anniversary from McClellands.

Need a pipe rack ( 6 count or so )

And any pipe that is Full Bent would be cool.

Of course I don't expect anything off this list but it is what I want for Xmas Santa

Thank you,

I have been a good little sniper, I haven't taken anyone out who didn't deserve it.

I would wish for anything non-aromatic.

And perhaps some more Christmas Cheer

Re: 2006 Secret Pipe Santa wishlists

Seeing how this is a wishlist i'll just throw my fantasy list out unto the world. (this is just a wishlist NOT a shopping list)

The List

Another fine smoking Boswell Pipe
(note: i enjoy straight to 1/8 bent stems on most of my pipes)

A Churchwarden without one of those really deep bowls.

One of those Carve Your Own Briar Block pipes.

A nose burner / stubby Pipe

Briar Pipe Wipe cloth

Pipe Pouch, nothing too big, 2 pipe would be just fine

Shank Brush

Tobaccos:
Solani Blend 633

Blending Perique

any of the McCelland Royal Cajun Blends

MacBaren HH Vintage Syrian

Hearth & Home Anything bulk

Peterson University Flake

-------------------------------------

Just a note to all that this elf will have his workshop open to do commisson work(gars and tobac) tampers, pipe rests and maybe a rustic pipe rack. If you want to throw something special in with Santa's gifts just PM me and we shall work something out. Tampers i can turn within a week. Rests are 3to 4 weeks. Just keep that in mind.

Boy this is fun

Root

Ps Santa, what i really want is for my dads brain cancer to go away.

Re: 2006 Secret Pipe Santa wishlists

Here's my wishlist!

1. I really need a nice pipe pouch that can hold one or two pipes and tobacco.

2. A nice freehand by Nording, Erik, or Big Ben

3. I love bulk tobacco blends from B & M's I'll most likely never get the chance to visit.

Re: 2006 Secret Pipe Santa wishlists

Still somewhat of a pipe newb here. Would love to try a churchwarden sometime. I have some aromatics I'm working through here so not really looking for those, but anything else would be nice.

Course anything Santa decides to send would be appreciated!

Re: 2006 Secret Pipe Santa wishlists

If someone wants to buy a pipe then i do like a nice freehand (i love plateau briar), a homemade pipe if you are a pipemaker. or a nice peterson. (can anyone tell i love petersons!) My posts in this forum will show you the type of pipes i have, bent is my favourite. however a pipe is not essential, i have quite a few and plan on buying more restoration projects.

dont really require a pouch or anything as i mainly smoke at home and dont tend to travel much with my pipes.

dont need a tamper as i have an amazing mr.c tamper, also have my trusty zippo pipe lighter from designwise.

as for tobacco, dont want aromatics, i do smoke them but i have plenty at the moment, and im very fussy about them. My favourite blends tend to be a flavourful medium english or Virginia based with latakia. dont like flavoured tobacco's very much, prefer the natural taste. full in flavour but not too strong. i love things like dunhill early morning pipe and mcclellands anniversary blend, hopefully this will give you some ideas.

this probably makes me look really fussy, lol.

Re: 2006 Secret Pipe Santa wishlists

No need for pipes Santa ... I have more than enough.
Tobacco is good ... I've been wanting to try some of the new GL Pease blends (Fillmore + Laurel Heights).
Otherwise any good Virginia or light English blend is fine.
