2006 Christmas Cheer

I am going to pick up a tin of this today and was wondering if anyone had opened a tin and tried this. All I have read, told that this is a great blend. Not as harsh and no aftertaste. Anyone popped this one?

i had the tin that VS sent me, unopenned, and i just got another one in thursday night. have yet to pop either of them open. can't help ya.

never tried it, however i have a tin of CC 2005 on its way to me, i will let you know what i think, i will probably crack it open 12 days before christmas and smoke it on the way to work in the mornings.

Just got back from the smoke shop. This is a wonderful blend and I highly recommend this to anyone who smokes pipe tobacco. I had an in depth discussions with the owner of the shop, compairing this years to previous. He was impressed and said he thought this was great right out of the tin. He normally puts it away for a year before even trying it but said this was good. I can only imagine what it will do in a year.

Does it only come in the large tins?

As far as I know yes, same as the Anniversary. Well worth the money though. I plan on buying another tin or two.

I got some open and it is a mighty fine smoke. Tangy red that really shines in the last third of the bowl. My only complaint is the is the semi-broken flake cut, i would have liked it to be a full flake but thats just me.
