Tobacco Pouch Question
I picked up a leather Mac Baren's tobacco pouch a while back and carry whatever blend in it I plan to smoke on a given day. I'm wondering about the residual tobacco left in the pouch over time contaminating, or corrupting the flavor, of the fresh tobacco I add. Is this real or

Re: Tobacco Pouch Question
How is the pouch lined? Plastic no problem. I had a Dunhill that was lined with a foam rubber type fill and over the course of 3 years I did not notice the prior tobacco flavoring what was currently in the pouch. Hope this helps.

Re: Tobacco Pouch Question
I've never noticed it to be a problem and I've been using the same one for at least the last eight years.

Re: Tobacco Pouch Question
You probably wouldn't want to put a light virginia into a pouch that had lot's of a latakia-type blend in it. If in doubt, give it a sniff first. Also you could wipe the inside with a damp cloth first and let it air dry for a few days.

Re: Tobacco Pouch Question
I know some of my tobaccos can be smelled through a baggie ( might have a tiny leak) but the scent is strong and I would think that it would leave that scent for the next tobacco. Even more so mixing the moist aromatics then switching to a non-aromatic. I'll just stick to my baggies that everyone at work likes to comment on.
