Re: Trying to get a Stanwell

Hate to keep bumping this thread, but does anybody have the model 19 Stanwell? I'm looking at one with a "Vario" finish, and I'm wondering about this shape.

i "think" that one of my stanwells is a shape 19 (but since i'm out of town, i can't look to be sure - although there's a photo of it in the sticky).
here's one. cool shape.

btw - mine that's close to that shape smokes awesome.

Re: Trying to get a Stanwell

wow, how did I miss that? I've been browsing that site for weeks. Ok, I think I'm going to go for it, then.

IHT - i think that particular finish (Vario) is sold out in that shape, but they have a few others, including the "Golden Danish".... which is only $51.

I found your pics in the sticky. That's an absolutely beautiful Stanwell, as are the others. I believe the one you have pictured there is a 204, since it has the square shank, rather than round.

Re: Trying to get a Stanwell

i think you're looking at the wrong stanwell.
i do have a 204, but i'm talking about my dark sandblasted one with plateau top... ah well, doesn't matter, i don't think it's a 19 anyway.

I've been watching them, too, and I do like that Danish Sovereign 309. Not sure if I like it more than the pipe I linked above....especially for the price.
