I forgot about the Odyssey -- that may be my favorite English, actually.

Just had Dan's Vanilla Honeydew for the first time last night an *really* liked it ... probably a bit more than the Vanilla cream.

Re: Tinned tobacco

Thanks for all of your input!

Decided to start this journey with a tin of MacBaren Vanilla Cream Flake Cut, and the “Pipe and Cigar” Totally Cavendish tin sampler, four tins @ $28.00 seemed like a deal.

Plan on getting a tin of each of the tobaccos suggested over the next month or so, that should keep me smoking until next year.

Thinking about get half a dozen corncob pipes too, no point in trying a lot of new tobacco in seasoned briars.

These are the pipes I ordered…

Re: Tinned tobacco

very nice pipes, what's the top one?
i liked the karl erik in your first photo, but the top one in this photo i may like a little better (reminds me of my tim west that's broken).

i missed on replying earlier.
a bulk blend that you could try that's got VA/Per/Cav is Peter Stokebyye's Bulls Eye Flake - a lot of ppl on here like it a lot (and i'm so close to ordering some myself).

The two Mastro Beraldi pipes are very appealing.

Re: Tinned tobacco

Those are the 2 out of 3 i like the most..
the bottem one i like alot

I just got my 1st tin of MC's Vanilla cream (loose cut)
its got that "classic" pipe aroma when burning. out of everything ive smelled so far, thats the one that reminds me of "grandpa".

even tho my pappy never smoked a pipe.. but if he did, it would have smelled like vanilla cream!

great pipes, i hope you enjoy them!
