Beware a Hoplophile "sample"....
sigh....about a week ago I casually mentioned that I had never had McC Dark Star. Hoplophile PM's me and would like to send a sample.
Well 150 grams of pipe tobac and a spanky cigar later, I have my sample. Thanks SO much Gorman. This is not what I expected but it sure is great!  100 g tin of Dark Star (reminds me a bit of my revered Stonehaven in look and texture) 50 g tin of CAO Midnight Ride LFD Double Ligero Chisel (presumably to replace the one I broke and bowl-smoked the other day) oh yeah, the Midnight Ride is 8 years old ya dirty bastages...cellared since 1997  . I've never had 8 year old tobac before so I'm almost afeared to open the tin, but I'll get over it no doubt.Gorman...reinforcing and reconfirming the beauty of what CS is all about....one "sample" at a time! Thanks again! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a drying-and-rubbing date with a dark beauty. Thanks again
