JRC can't handle getting a sample...

...without getting all crazy!! Sheesh, I sent the guy a few little Burley blend samples and it seems to have gotten him all stirred up, although I am all the better for it.
I get off of a couple weeks on the road only to find a package containing a few oz each of McC Grey Havens (Burley/VA/per blend), C&D #734 Green River Vanilla, MacB VA #1 and 2 from his local B&M...Burley Light and Staghorn.
BTW - I have tried the Burley Light and I think I am hooked. Nice light nutty smooth and easy smoking. Talk about a tobac that needs no thinking. I had 2 bowls...one a 1/2 sample and the next a big pot-full. VERY nice indeed . (This inspired me to finally try some Prince Albert as well...man what a no-brainer that is, and it's virtually free)

But the best was saved for last. A little 60-year-old Kaywoodie straight, screw stem with a 2-hole stinger...THAT HE REFURBED HIMSELF!! And quite nicely I might add. This little pipe looks like it just came from the store and it smokes great right out of the sock. The pipe has a great birdseye on the bowl and a straight swirl flame grain around the shank. man I love it!! This will be perfect for those short smokes and pocket-carry. A treasure indeed.

Jeremiah - thanks SO much!!
anyone got any RG to lay on him please do so..

Evan,
Thank You for sending me those burley and burley/va blends! Blame it on the marine in me for returning fire with the intent to obliterate. I'm glad you like the Burley Light from the local B&M I have here. I'll send you more any time you'd like. I hope the little 'Woodie brings you much smoking pleasure in the future, I love the grain on that one too. It's a pleasure to return the favor to a gent as generous as you are!

Best Wishes,
Jeremiah
