Highland needs to rename itself. It wants people to think it's a cigar bar, but it's really just a bar with a small closet they call a humidor with a tiny, overpriced selection of cigars.

Which is exactly why I bring my own. Happily, they've done away with the "cutting fee" they used to charge. (Probably because people stopped heading there.)

Say what you will about their selection, it is a great place to meet up and have an impromptu herf. I routinely find more people hanging out there enjoying cigars than almost any B&M I stop at. And they're open late! And the serve drinks!

Speaking of this herf, anybody get any pictures of it? We had some really great cigars there! One guy brought in some authentic pre-embargo sticks (actually they might have been JUST post-embargo, come to think of it), and generously let us sample them! ibble:
