Cigar Live Monthly Atlanta Herf!!!
Brothers and sister of the leaf that reside in Atlanta and all surrounding areas. I am writing to get an idea of what number of member would be interested in attending a monthly herf at Havana Blue II (bluehavana2.com).

We tried this once before and it ended due to lack of interest.
Jim is willing to once again open the doors of the store on a Saturday night once a month so that we can gather. My concern is that we not make full use of his generous offer by not showing up consistantly. I know things happen and there will be times when some members cannot attend. But I feel we should have no problem having 10 to 12 members show up each month.
That's what it will take to keep the herf going.

Also (and Jim would never say this, but I will) I would expect that as Cigar Live members we show our love to those that have love for us. We do this by making a purchase (doesn't matter how much) before we leave the herf for the night. Be clear those are my words, not Jim's ... but I feel it's only right. No other B&M that I know of would open their doors to such and event month after month.

So who's down to have a monthly herf? It's long over due ... why should Texas have all the fun?

Me too, but I figure it's only once a month. The cigar scene in Atlanta is no where close to what it could be. Maybe we can correct that one event at a time.

I am all in favor of a monthly herf but I have a hard time attending herfs on weekend nights. If we were to meet on Saturday afternoons it is easier at least for me. It gives you a chance to herf and still take the wife out Saturday nights. That way everyone is happy. But if it were to start near midday and go on into the night that would probably work as well for many because it would limit time constraints and allow folks to show up and leave as needed. The only problem with this would be if it was a strain on Jim to have a herf all day as opposed to after hours.

That's completely understandable. Once we get enough interest going we can fine tune the times with Jim.

Good stuff guys. Spread the word and have brothers and sisters respond to this link if they are interested. I'm thinking the turn out for the "CL Smoke Across America" would be good momentum to start the herf that following month. That way we can finalize any small details there. We want to have as many BOTL and SOTL participate as possible each month. This would be our monthly herf, so your input is always welcomed.
