    Good cartridges aren't expensive.

    I mostly use Lyvale Super Comp's and Gamebore White Golds, they don't break the bank at all, I might switch to using Eley's though soon.

    They're not, but my point was that with a pump it doesn't matter.

    I dove hunt with the same couple of guys every year and we keep a common ammo locker that everybody adds to (sometimes just whatever is on sale). When we get ready to go out, I just grab whatever and cram it in my vest and the one guy who hunts with a semi-auto has to know what his gun will shoot and picks and chooses. It's just a convenience, and I like the rhythm of shooting my pump.
