Luv my pistols, Luv them!!!!!
Currently have a collection around 30 pistols, 2 shotguns, 6 rifles, current value about $16 k, and i havn't shot one in 4 or 5 years, seems like a waste dosen't it?

Ram, i don't have an explosives license, but i worked for the DOD for 8 years making and dismantling some of the finest ordanance the US Military has. 40 mm, 60, 81, 110 mortors, Grenades, 105mm tank rounds, tile armor for the Bradley, c-4, c-6, prima cord, and a lot of other stuff i can't talk about.
Alot of job skills i cannot ever use in the civilian sector.

So no neither of your 2 querys bother me!
The Milan Army Amunition Plant employs a large number of people in this area, with the same skills, and there has never been any incident of misuse of their skills or access.

I don't own any firearms at the moment. You can't have 'em in Japan. I have been shooting since I was a kid though. When I get back to the states, I'm sure I'll get a few.

In the mean time I get to play with these:

The first one is actually my ship. That's our Ordinance Officer having fun with the 25mm cannon. This is what we shoot at. We call it the "Killer Tomato:"

That's me in the middle with my arm straight up.

Favorite is a Navy Model 1911 I've had for forty years. I've a couple of rifles, and pistols. Taught all three of my kids to shoot. Second son qualified Marksman on his first time to the range. Daughter is actually the best shot.
I'm also a libertarian, and it's nobodies buisness what firearms I own unless I feel like telling them. You people are those kind of persons.
Now if it has a blade however, I probably have at least one of each of them. I own two Gil Hibbens originals.

Rocket: I was able to own shotguns while in Iwakuni. Problem being while not in use I had to keep them at the Armory on base. Other problem was that it cost $800.00 plus for the lisense and the only thing we went for was wild bore. I had a friend up in the hills that the local golf course would seek out to clean up the pop. because they tore up the course fairways big time. Maybe it's because I am a civ. though. Dont know.

Anyway. I love guns. Everyone should own one. I have a few deer rifle's and a couple of hand guns. All in the states right now at my brothers house. My favorite is my Knight muzzle loder. So much fun. Son love to shoot and will get my Daughter out this summer in Texas to sharpen up her skills.

Guns are safe, it's the beholder you have to watch out for.

Luger

Hey guys-

My Father-in-Law is big collector. He has quite a few neat guns. The two he has given to me recently are both WWII German. One is a 41 or 42 Luger. Probably the coolest pistol I know of. The other is a small 25 cal pistol. It is also German and really cool too. The action on them are great. I am taking the Luger to range here soon to get off a few shoots. I cannot wait. He has 2 Union muskets also. His Great Great...Grandfather was a Union Officer. He was 6'4" and a calavary officer. Huge man for the times. We have pictures of him and we also have the sword he carried, big show and tell item at school for my son. It has some 12-15 notches in it. Pretty neat. Love history and I married into a family that has some.
