That'd be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, can't use it here No semi-auto's for hunting in PA cept for duck/goose if I remember right. I've got a really nice Marlin .17HMR that does a good job of dispatching terrorists/squirrels though

Well, I'm all for gun control, personally: use both hands, correct breathing, trigger technique... if you can't control your gun, you need more practice.

I've got a few. S&W Mod. 28 (.357), Kimber Tactical (.45), Taurus (9mm), SIG 226 Navy (9mm), Bond Arms Derringer (.45 Colt), Ruger 10/22 (.22LR), and, my personal favorite: Springfield M1 Garand (.30-06). And there's this .30-40 Krag that keeps trying to follow me home.

I was going to buy a really cute little bolt-action .22 for my daughter--16 1/4" bbl, with a pink stock--but I realized that I should probably wait until she finished teething (she's only 6 months old).

Later!

Co-op - Those lil Cricket .22's are nice rifles. I'm planning on getting one for my g/f's daughter this summer actually (she's turning 13 next month). My boy is 3 1/2 and he's already got a Mossberg bolt-action 20ga (pretty sure they don't make em anymore, and this thing is at least 50 years old and has been in my family for about 40 of them) waiting in my gun cabinet for him.

Really nice piece man...and for all intents and purposes, it's a Glock. They've copied all the important parts of it anyhow. Buddy of mine has an XD 9mm and it's a dream to shoot. Congrats!

Eh...I think that's a matter of preference. My Glock never failed me, always worked like a charm and it fit my hand well. I think once you hit a certain level of reliability and accuracy, the rest is just a matter of personal preference. I would not hesitate to have an XD in my collection any longer than I'd hesitate to own a Glock. That being said, I still love my Sig the most

Mine's a 9mm. It was a minor concession to get the girlfriend into shooting with me and it's cheaper to feed. I do want to get a .45 though at some point.

Bah...lasers are for guys that don't know how to shoot My biggest worry would be that I'd become dependent on them and forget how to shoot without it, then the batteries be dead the one time I really need it My Sig's got tritium sites on it though, and I love those.
