Glock 30 with Glock night-sights. Glock's factory is about 20 minutes from my house....

Also have a few rifles and shotguns....

Sprained ankle is hurting too bad for me to go around and take pictures....

Can you tell me how much larger is the 30 over the 19 in terms of weight and size?

I think my next gun is the 30 for more firepower

Jon, I've had a G27 for about 10 years now. I love that gun. I remember comparing to the G23, the subs are considerably smaller than the compacts. The biggest difference is getting your pinky on the grip. People adapt to the free pinky or just get a magazine extension for the pinky. You considered hotter faster rounds like the .40 or .357 Sig over the .45?

It's hard to beat Glock service as well. I had my Trijicon sights put on by Glock in Smyrna for $75 back in 98. They've gone dim in the last year or so, so it's time to do some replacements.

I typically enjoy shooting my USP .40 compact more than the Glock. But this time around, I actually enjoyed the Glock a bit more. My P7M13 has a weird shooting geometry. It's tougher on the wrists for a 9MM, but that thing is so damn accurate.

Guess i don't need to post a pic of my 30 since you just did. The 30 is my evryday carry and I personally love it. Kind of like the AE commercial, "Never leave home without it."

I can help with that. My wife carries the 19 and that's her favorite. I carry the 30. The grip on the 30 is an issue for folks with smaller hands. The double stack mag with .45s just takes up more real estate. The 30 is also a little thicker but then again it's a .45. I am not going to get into quoting the weights etc. etc but go to the Glock page and all of the specs are there. Personally I think 16 rds of 9 is pretty close to the same weight as 11 .45.

Now if we want to get into 1911's and target shooting then that is another story...

OK, here's picture of a Ruger PG100 .357 w/4" barrel. My favorite looks just like this and I don't have a picture of it. Pardon my paranoia, but that and maybe my carry weapon would be the only ones I cop to owning. )

With respect to handguns, I am down to just seven, three are 9mm, three are 38 spl. and one is a .22 cal. I've posted pictures of the most important handgun I own. It's a Kel Tech P11 9mm, 10 in the mag and one up the tube. I have fired this weapon over 400 times with never a problem of any kind. I say this is my most important handgun because it's the one I carry 24/7!
