Guns.....Great Knives.........Great

Hello to all:
I am fairly new to puff.com and have posted in the cigar forums. But just now I saw this lightly used gun forum.
Now I am excited. LOL
I am not a gun " nut," but I have used all types of firearms being forty years in the military. And being retired for five years now.
I have a small private collection, not really a collection but a few pieces that I target shoot with.
I wont hunt, I have had enough killing in my life, but I am not adverse to be on the receiving end of some venison or especially some wild turkey, or goose.
What I personally own right now is very basic.
1) Henry Big Boy Lever in .44(I do love lever action)
2) Henry .22 survival rifle
3 )Mini 14 .223
4) Springfield survival, (22 hornet, 410 shotgun combo)
5) Standard Mossberg persuader 12 ga.(My favorite)
6) Mossberg hs410 .410 for the wife, but I do love this little one with great passion and fun.
7) Sig p226 9mm
M9 government model 9mm(My last sidearm I was presented with and allowed to keep)
9) Kimber 1911 .45 (My go to in an emergency situation along with my mossberg)

I basically take out one rifle a month to clear some rounds through it, make sure its still centered in, and functioning proper, and a good cleaning.
The Kimber is once a month at the range, strong hand , and off hand, and with movement.

I look at them as tools and no different then my craftsmen toolbox, I keep all my tools, in their place, sharpened and clean and ready to use.

Much regards Jerry
