CCI Stinger .22 ammo

Has any else found this hard to find?

I usually pick them up at Dicks Sporting Goods or Cabelas. They usually always have in stock atleast here in PA.

While some ammo is hard to find, I have had no problem with the cci stinger. That is what I use for plinking with my Henry .22. Has a bit of a snap to it, as opposed to a regular 22lr.
Now 380 is hard to find and certain 9mm. Especially the speer 9mm jhp + p, which is departmental mandated. I am retired now, so can use any thing, but had gotten used to it, and have a lot of handguns that I prefer to use it with. Kahr K9, Sig 226, smith 5946 and my glock, which I seem to use as my carry around more and more , due to it holding 16 rounds and being light.

Well. I sold all my buddies on it by shooting cans full of water (Or full) with different rounds and showing them the results.......we all agreed we did not want to be hit by the "Stingers".

Ya the stinger is some pretty hot ammo, I've used it in 22lr & 22 magnum, both have shot very well. I just seems to have a nice crack to it.
