Although he's really not stupid by any means! Had some La Minita left
over, so I roasted a batch a little while ago. Thought I would combine it with the St. Andrews, in equal amounts, a little later.

It was good, but need to roast the La Minita a little longer, I think. 1 tbs of each (beans), ground and brewed the same way as for the St. Andy's - came off a little weaker, but lots of potential.

Re: Your Favorite Bean to Roast

So far my favorite bean too roast is India Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold from Sweet Maria’s. After resting for 48 hours and out of a French Press, at Full City +, (as recommend by SM), this coffee had a nice body with a nice hint of dry-roasted peanut notes. The package of beans says makes an interesting espresso. I will have to definitely try this when I go the espresso route (baby steps).

My current favorite to roast and drink is Aidas Special Reserve...really hard to find though in its green and pristine state! Possibly the best of '07!

Re: Your Favorite Bean to Roast

Always loved the Ethiopian Har Har ( I think that's right). Big bean roasted and cooled rather well.

Re: Your Favorite Bean to Roast

Lately, the Kenya AA's I have in stock are a lot of fun to roast.
