What a great idea guys. Too bad I do not have an iphone and do not plan on getting one. The only carrier that has the iphone here in Canada is Rogers and they suck here in Manitoba. A blackberry version is a must!

I am downloading it now, and will give feedback once I get it loaded. You can be sure I will give it a good review even if I still have complaints, as that will lead to a more-often-downloaded app, which gives more funding for more features. I am all about features, even if I choose not to use some.

Something I am hoping this will help with is that many cigars that first came out years ago have few reviews after the 2006 time frame. Having a handy way to review everything you smoke, and especially while smoking it, should lead to newer data points for older cigar brands. I am very glad you have provided exactly the app I wanted. Now just give me that Humidor app.

Finished downloading, and all five of dalbarran's suggestions are on the money. Alphabet hot-links would help much, even an alphabetic page view where you can scroll through just the A's, or just the J's. There is an iPhone "settings" location where apps can be customized. It would be nice on this app to be able to change font sizes, or add and remove columns of information to make my interface as crowed as I choose.

I would also like to be able to:

• "Favorite" a brand instead of a specific cigar
• Go from a specific cigar back to size listing for that brand
• Sort by Top 25 by size/shape (like on puff.com)
• Add a size of an existing brand (like on puff.com)

good stuff..had to draw the line somewhere or we would of never gotten it launched but we will work on getting some of these into the next few updates!

After using for a few days including while in a cigar shop, I have decided upon a user interface mod that would make this a much easier tool for finding info on specific cigars quickly. I think I would call it "hot search". Something similar to this would make specific cigar queries very fast.

• The interface has a text box at the top, a scrollable list below it, and the keyboard at the bottom.
• After typing the first three letters, the scrollable list is populated with all the brands beginning with those three letters, and the keyboard disappears.
• There should be a button that re-activates the text box and keyboard to quickly search for another.
• Choosing a brand and size works just like the normal interface
• It would be most functional to have a click-able button or link at all times on all pages to get back to the hot-search feature.

Another feature that I mentioned once before is to be able to favorite a brand instead of a size. This would really help out when trying to decide on a few cigars in a shop where they might your favorite brand, but not your size. If available, I would add brands I have been meaning to try, like a shopping list.

I agree with you wholeheartedly Drake but somehow I don't think it will happen =P

I have a little experience writing programs for Android, maybe one of these days I'll brush the dust off and see how much of a headache it will be to port it, with the developers blessing of course.

Yes! Some one who know's what I'm talking about. A glint of a future hope... In all honesty, I would pay 10 bucks for a good cigar app for android. Maybe een more if it did a few extra things. But I would definitely use the crap out of it.

I love this. I don't have an iPhone but I do have an iPod Touch that I usually have with me. I can take it in the store and make any updates while I am smoking on my back porch and attached to my wireless LAN.

It's a beautiful thing!
