Just got approved today!

Basically if you have a iPhone this allows you direct LIVE access to our Puff entire database of reviews (over 30,000 of them!) and they are all stored on your phone and updated with new ones every time you log onto the application. This means you will have access to our entire database of reviews no matter if you have internet access or not (think inside your B&M store with no bars and trying to decide what to buy!)

Ill have Andy who helped create the application stop in from time to time in this forum to answer questions and take suggestions for improvements..

Oh yeah..you can also submit reviews right from your iphone to our live database. We also included a bookmarking feature to allow you to bookmark your favorite cigars on your iphone as well!

awesome!!! What a great Idea. Maybe you can add a way for us to input our humidors inventory list. Then cross reference the review for a particular cigar? Then one can write a review as they smoke and subtract it from inventory...
Just a thought.
Can't wait to get my hands on the app!

we have a few ideas for some more cigar apps but we want to get this cigar review one perfect first

one of which is a humidor type app!

Hey great job on the APP! I dont know how many times I've found myself wondering about cigars in a store, wishing I had a review or two. I think this is probably my fave app now!

One suggestion though, if you could add a way to quick scroll through the beginning letters. I noticed it took a long time to scroll down to the H's let alone Rocky Patels, or Xicars. other than that Great Job

Thats great, but i don't use a iPhone and don't plan on getting one (Don't like AT&T).

Is there plans to make this App for BlackBerry?

Hello all,

Just wanted to introduce myself here. I'm the iphone app developer on this project. Jon and I worked tirelessly to get this online and up for you the users. For those that download it we hope its a great on the fly resource.

Here are a couple of the more user friendly points about the app:

- No internet connection required. Once you download the app to your phone you can look up cigar specifics and reviews anywhere in the world. An internet connection is only required when submitting a cigar review or downloading an update.
- Range of data: As you'll be able to see the app covers every brand and cigar found in the puff.com database. This app is great while you're standing in a shop's humidor mulling over what smoke to get to share with a drink. Even in the testing phase I found myself relying on the app several times to help me decide what I wanted by reading the user's reviews.

Jon is right on that we are planning many things for the app and will be updating it regularly in order to make it fresh for the users with up to date materials and new features.

I'll now be a face on this forum to answer any technical questions and to hear your ideas for what you think the app needs.
