When it was demonstrated this past w/e at the Florida game how quickly Phil Fulmer could evacuate 110,000 people FEMA has decided to offer him a job!!!

In a sad way, really. Maybe I'm just jaded about "mob mentality" or I'm naive in expecting patience but I think our fans can be (and often are) the most fickle you've ever heard of.

Instead of saying, "Yeah, that coach led us to X victories or X championships but we've lost two games in a row so fire his a$$!!!" we should say, "Hmm, if we show a little patience and get rid of or bench a couple of attitude problem players then this coach may be able to lead us to victory again IN SPITE OF the sometimes crappy attitudes of players and fans."

But there I go again, being naive.

sounds like you've been listening to sportstalk down here in the 'Nooga. All of the UT fans are bitching and whinning. Hell, didn't he win a NC in 98? Can't win them all!

And no, it does not refer to a position , it would refer to whom ever was responsible for putting a clause in Phils contract that says if he wins 8 games, he gets another year on his contract! This is not Vandy people, 8 games a year will not cut it!

We only need about 6 million to buy him out! I put a five in the hat and am passing it around!
