Senator Obama on Foreign Affairs
With the invasion of Georgia by Russia, reporters asked Senator Obama what he thought about it. He replied that he thought the President should call out the National Guard in South Carolina, Florida, and Alabama just in case the fighting spreads.

I'm in the Georgia Army National Guard... I don't see any Russian Soldiers around. I'll call the readiness NCO at my unit in the morning to see if I need to put my TA-50 in the car... just in case.
