Having a RP Edge Lite Dbl Corona in our warehouse right now. Loving this very smooth cigar. It's a bit lighter than I normally smoke, but it is very smooth and tasty... will work up to the Edge Torpedo maddy later today...

I recently had my first Rocky Patel Edge Corojo Toro, and I found it to be a great, satisfying smoke. Now, I understand there is also an Edge Maduro. How do those two compare? Is the maduro any stronger, or does it just have a hint more sweetness? I thought the Edge Corojo was rich, but not overpowering - which I think pretty much sums up what Rocky was shooting for.

I was never a fan of Maduro cigars probably because I hadn't found one that I liked. When we were at Rocky's in Honduras I must have smoked 3 Edge Maduros in one day. They are now my favorite by far.
On another note, the local tavern I frequent lets me smoke cigars and I have yet to have a complaint (usually compliments) about any of the RP's I smoke there. |

The maduro is equally as full bodied, but different. The maduro has a natural sweetness (which is a characteristic of the Costa Rican wrapper). I find hints of spice accompanied by a full rich leathery flavor (I never tasted leather but I would assume that's what it would taste like). The Edge's filler & binder is what gives the cigar it's unique flavor, the wrapper just complinments the tobacco giving each Edge it's own personality. If you enjoy fuller bodied cigars like I do do I suggest you try our Sun Grown (my personal favorite) & the Olde World Reserve (they retail over $10, but are definitely worth a try). As far as the Edge goes, I persoanlly think it is a great everyday smoke with a pocket friendly price. |

I had a Sun Grown Edge on Friday. I must say it was very good. I also had a 1990 vintage but it was a little bit of a tough draw. It was still great and got easier as I smoked it.

Had my first RP of any kind Sat. Edge Maduro Toro. As a result, I am stopping by my B&M this after noon and getting 5 more. What a wonderful smoke. Cant wait to explore the other lines.
Congrats on a great job.

The OSG is a private label, as far as comparing the OSG to our Sun Grown. I would have to say that the Sun Grown is a fuller, richer cigar. Not to take anything away from the OSG, but I've been smoking our SG's on a regualr basis since we came out with it.
