Anyone tried CAO L'Anniversaire Cameroon Maduro?

i just bought 10 for $30 from cigars international. it was originally $72. i love cao brazilias, so i thought how could i go wrong with such a sweet deal. any comments would be greatly appreciated. also, i'm sure someone here shops from cigars international. i also bought the mammoth maduro sampler pack. these are fine cigars. it came with 4 cao brazilias, 4 romeo y julietas, 4 5 vegas and 4 indian tabacs. dont care for the 5 vegas at all. comments anyone? :baffled:

Was it the Cameroon, or the Maduro?

Both are good cigars, but the Maddie in the Toro size is my #1 Go-to.

I've tried both the L'Anniversaire Maduro and the Cameroon, but I have to say the Cameroon's one of my go-to cigars.

The L'Anni Maduro was the first maduro cigar I'd tried and possibly a bad choice - it kicked my arse! I got black liquorice, bitter chocolate and some deep, rich tobacco flavours off it with a fair bit of strength. The liquorice faded out after the first third, which I think was what made me feel sick (I really can't stand liquorice, ate it once just before I got really sick and can't even smell it now without wanting to throw up). By the end my head was swimming and my legs were wobbly. Even though it didn't fit me well I can't complain about the construction and burn - both were really good, although the outer wrapper leaf was a bit dinged, with several scuffs and small holes.

The Cameroon's one of my favourites - nice easy draw, good burn and a nice smooth caramel flavour with billows of smoke. Your mileage may vary, though. I've not been smoking that long so I'm not so great at picking out flavours yet.
