Anything scheduled in the Charlotte, NC area any time soon?
Well we don't currently have a rep. for NC as of right now. But I assure you, as soon as we do, we'll have plenty of events.

Just thought I'd let you know we reviewed the Sun Grown Toro on our show this week. We really loved that cigar! I've always been a big "Patelian" (or as you call us, Rock-Heads) and go through boxes of the IT Super Fuerte Maduro like candy! I like most of your more current offerings, but I hope you never discontinue the IT Super Fuerte line.

Oh, well first off, thank you very much. We appriciate smokers who appriciate our cigars.

The Sungrown is my favorite cigar we make. I love the richness and balance of spice and sweetness. The toro size really packs a punch.

Thanks again, and let me know if you have any questions on our cigars.

Just out of curiosity - what qualifications are needed to become a rep (BA in Marketing, etc.)?

I cannot seem to quite smoking Rocky Patel. It is like the "c" in ITC stands for crack. I enjoy your full line up. Welcome back to the forums!!

Hi! I am about to sit down with my coffee and a RP Vintage 1992 Torp. Here is a question you probably answer 10 times a day. Are you still really using 1992 vintage tobacco in that cigar, and if so, how is it that you haven't run out yet considering it has been such a smash hit?

My favorites are the ITC 10, and the Edge Corojo. Keep up the great work!

John, I asked this at the last event with Rocky, and Rocky's brother said that right now they are still using the 90 and 92 tobacco, but will soon run out, and that they have some that has been aging, so it will continue to be 10 and 12 year old tobacco.

He told me the origional wrappers on this was supposed to be used for some Don Thomas cigars, but they decided not to use it when Rocky bought it. If true and interesting story.

First paragraph: True.

Second paragraph: Haven't heard before, so I can't confirm or deny that.

So the wrappers on all of our Vintage lines (1990, 1992, & 1999), the wrappers are FROM that year's crop. So in essence, you're not smoking a (12, 10, & 7) year old leaf, you're smoking a (18, 16, & 9) year old leaf, respectivley.

So smoke up while it's out there!

Damn! Why did I turn a co-worker onto the Vintage line, that means less for me! By the way, he loves them. (Hmmm guess that changes my thoughts on already having too many Vintages from the Devil Site and not buying more.)

90 & 92 wrappers

These wrapper leaves were supposed to be used for an Astral cigar brand, made by UST which also makes Don Tomas. For one reason or another, the cigars were never made and the leaves sat for years and years. When Rocky decided to buy up the tons of tobacco bales, UST stipulated that they be the ones to roll the cigars. RP agreed and the 1990 and 1992s were released. Not long after, UST was taken over by General Cigar, and there at HATSA in Danli, the cigars continue to be rolled today.

Hey, I just had a quick question I saw that there will be a Rocky event at Cigar Castle this Thursday 2/28, I was just wondering if you knew who would be at the event.
